BSides Mumbai 2026 is a single-day cybersecurity conference happening on 3 October 2026 in Mumbai. Now in its third edition, BSides Mumbai brings together security researchers, engineers, students, and industry leaders for a day of talks, hands-on workshops, and community networking.

What Happens at BSides Mumbai 2026
Talks (Briefings)
45+ speakers presenting original research across application security, cloud security, threat intelligence, red teaming, IoT, AI security, and more. Sessions run 25-40 minutes with Q&A. Past speakers have covered topics from macOS exploitation to vehicle OSINT to building security teams from scratch.
Workshops & Villages
Hands-on, interactive sessions where you build skills in real time. Villages are community-run spaces focused on specific domains - think hardware hacking, OSINT, cloud security, and more. Workshop seating is first-come, first-served.
Capture The Flag (CTF)
A two-phase CTF competition:
- Qualification Round (27 September 2026) - 24-hour online jeopardy-style CTF. Open to all teams of up to 4 members.
- Final Round (3 October 2026) - 6-hour offline CTF at the venue on event day. Exclusively for qualified teams.
Categories include web, pwn, crypto, forensics, reversing, and OSINT. Cash prizes plus sponsor rewards for the top finishers.
CXO Panel
A moderated discussion with CISOs, CTOs, and security leaders on the real challenges of building and running security programs in India. Introduced in Edition 02 (2025) and returning by popular demand.
Networking & After-Party
Connect with the community over breakfast, lunch, high tea, and the after-party. Some of the best conversations at BSides happen between sessions.

The BSides Mumbai Story
BSides Mumbai grew out of India's competitive CTF scene. The organising team started as DARKARMY in 2020, running DARKCTF (4,700+ participants), then DARKCON and BSides Noida during the pandemic years, before bringing the event to Mumbai in 2022.
- Edition 01 (2024) - First in-person event. 156 attendees, 13 speakers, 6 sponsors.
- Edition 02 (2025) - CXO Panel debut, online CTF, 350+ attendees.
- Edition 03 (2026) - The biggest edition yet.
